Rosenhof Country House is situated on the outskirts of Oudtshoorn en route to the Cango Caves and Ostrich Farms.  The carefully renovated homestead (Circa 1852), with its yellowwood beams and ceilings and a tasteful collection of antique furniture.

THE karoo art  hotel

The funky Karoo Art Hotel is situated in the farming village of Barrydale,on the scenic Route 62 between Cape Town and Oudtshoorn. The country hotel offers 15 individually decorated rooms and has a regional specialty restaurant.

De Krans Wines

De Krans Wines is situated along the upper reaches of the picturesque Gamka River Valley near Calitzdorp in the Klein Karoo and dates back to 1890.  The cellar has won more than 600 medals and awards since 1980 and is widely regarded as one of the best and most innovative port-style producers in South Africa.

Our mission is to bring hope to impoverished rural communities in our country through sustainable social upliftment programs and to increase environmental awareness through sustainable conservation initiatives.

Social Initiatives

 The H.O.P.E Foundation currently supports diverse social and cultural initiatives. Our partnership with “Karos and Kambro”, a performing arts initiative , focus on our vulnerable youth whilst our school programs in the Cango Valley and Katatara attends to the needs of these impoverished rural communities.

Environmental Initiatives

 The H.O.P.E. Foundation focuses most of its conservation initiatives on projects within the Swartberg Mountains where our conservation programmes ensure that this (UNESCO) World Heritage Site is appreciated by our current generation and preserved for future generations.
